Terms of use

These terms apply when you use the Baittuna app or website. By creating an account or using Baittuna you agree to them.

1. What Baittuna is

Baittuna helps you find homes and land for sale or rent in Erbil and Kirkuk, listed by real-estate offices and agents, and helps you contact them and arrange visits. Baittuna is not a party to any sale or rental, is not an estate agent, and never holds money on your behalf.

2. Your account

• You sign in with your own phone number. Keep your phone and your codes to yourself; you are responsible for what is done with your account.
• Give true information and keep it up to date.
• You must be 18 or older.

3. Listings and verification

• Each office is responsible for its listings: the description, price, photos, availability and its right to offer the property.
• “Verified office” or “Verified agent” means Baittuna checked the business registration and contact details. It is not a guarantee about any property, price or ownership. Each listing shows separately whether ownership documents were seen.
• A location marked approximate shows the general area, not the exact address.

4. Stay safe

Never pay a deposit or send money before you have visited the property and seen the title deed at the office. If something looks wrong, use Report this listing.

5. What you must not do

• Give false information or pretend to be someone else.
• Harass, threaten or insult offices, their staff or anyone else.
• Send spam or advertising in messages.
• Copy listings in bulk, use automated tools, or try to get around security.
• Use Baittuna for anything illegal, or send content you have no right to share or that is offensive.

6. Messages and visits

A visit request is only a request until the office confirms it. If you cannot come, cancel or reschedule in the app so the office is not kept waiting.

7. The assistant

The assistant suggests listings and answers questions, and it can make mistakes. It only shows listings that exist on Baittuna, but always check the details in the listing and with the office before you decide.

8. Your content

You keep the rights to what you send. You allow Baittuna to store it and show it to the people it is meant for, so that the service can work.

9. Suspension

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these terms, and we will tell you why. You can answer through Help and support in the app.

10. Responsibility

We work to keep Baittuna accurate and available, but we cannot promise it will always be free of errors. As far as the law allows, Baittuna is not responsible for properties, for deals between you and an office, or for what offices and other users do. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the law.

11. Law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws in force in Iraq, including those of the Kurdistan Region where they apply. When we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app before the change applies.
